Winterize your House
Wintertime is upon us and it is time to keep the cold out and the heat in. I have found several products on Amazon that will help you stay warm and keep your electric costs down. In this Post I will provide links and descriptions of the products and explain how to use them.
The first two items are Interior Window Insulator kit and Interior Transparent Weather Sealing Tape, 1.5-Inch by 10-Yard

The insulator kit will do 5 windows its easy to use
all the tools you will need is a pair of scissors. You stretch the window insulator over the window and cut to fit then use the tape to hold and seal the insulator in place.
The next thing is to go outside and
seal around your windows and doors. I like to use the filler rope because its easy to use. You just stretch around the outside seams of windows and doors and push into the gaps with your fingers. Just click the graphic below. |
